The puddle of mudd cover blew me away (because I had no appreciation of that song before), and otherwise this is a cool focused jag spree. thenewspaper
"What's to those yesterday an unsolved riddle that remains to this day?"
After the few intense releases, HKE steps back their style to minimal techno and stripped electronica breakbeat that echoes early experimental phases of 2000's. Whether you enjoy your music sitting down or standing up, "Real World" and "Id Merger" take comfort in both worlds. DJ Home Movies
"To each their own."
HKE tends to be unpredictable, and "Cell" is a testament to that. With more focus on lounging dub electronica, there still runs some skating bangers, and fusions of the aforementioned two into experimental electronica. As atmospheric and hard to nail down as fog at an abandoned port, with "Moon Ritual" to put it all to sleep. Also props to TRENDS and Sven K being featured for that wicked hit "Crying Angel."
